Project Shelf

P&G asked us to provide our vision of the future retail experience. We responded with a ready-to-go solution that answers both the user needs and P&G business challenges.

A user-first mobile shopping assistant that leverages Google technologies like Machine Learning and Physical Web to address changes in consumer behaviours and provide a personalized and seamless experience.

Created as independent modules each component can work independently or leveraged in a tightly knit and symbiotic ecosystem.

SMART LIST: SHOPPING LISTS MADE EASY

The Smart List keeps track of what you buy and when you buy so it can anticipate your needs or remind you to buy before it runs out.

It is also context aware changing its interface from list creation at home to list completion at the retail space.

Coupling functionality is supported by the Coupon Wallet to hold all your coupons and a new dynamic coupon that can change based on the products you add to the list and their interactions.

CONNECTED LABEL:
CONVERSING WITH PRODUCTS

The Connected Label is an augmented product information portal leveraging non-invasive micro location capabilities through Physical Web beacons.

It also extends the interaction
with the shelf assisting on
product selection.

A NEW SEAMLESS CHECKOUT

Once all items are crossed off, the user will be prompted to head to the checkout lane and apply all final coupons.

All of the coupons will be dynamically added together to form one  single discount at checkout.

The user can apply it to their preferred digital payment system and pay directly by tapping their mobile device on the POS console.
